Random Day off School

The girls had a randomly scheduled day off of school.  So we had a little bit of fun. We started out by going to the Home Machine Quilting and Sewing show. The girls were having a rough time at first.  (yes, technically it was my idea to go, but they wanted to go too!)

After the first 20 minutes they started to get into it, and Alana wanted me to take her picture with just about all the quilts. 

After we got done I sent the girls on a treasure hunt through the vendor mall, and they loved that. It made it even batter as half way through that they discovered that a lot of vendors had candy! They were more than willing to share with small children.

I think we had loads of fun!

After we got home we had a picnic in the backyard. At the end of the day this was the first thing they mentioned to Will when he got home. "Daddy, daddy! We got to have a picnic in the backyard today!"

We also spent a while at the park too.
I think it was a successful day.
