June was a fun month. It started out with the end of school. The CDC said that the kids could go without masks for the last week. The kids had loads of fun with all the last week of school activities.
We were also able to celebrate Naomi's birthday! Since her birthday fell on a day when we were on vacation, we spread out the celebration over a few days.
She got donuts for her birthday dessert.
We did a sudo-celebration on the 12th before we left. We woke her up with a very off tune version of happy birthday and had her open her presents. She asked for yarn and a poofy princess dress to hang around the house in.
She asked for Indian food for her Birthday dinner, so we had some yummy food at Royal India.
Naomi has also been doing a lot of babysitting and extra chores so she could earn money for an iPod. She worked really hard and finally earned it right before her birthday! She was so excited!
She was able to have a birthday party too. She opted for a small party with a few friends. She had Emily, Ellie, and Olivia come over. They had pizza, treats and snacks, and watched some shows.
In June, we also got to see a couple families of adorable quails.
We also got to visit Grandpa Bob and Grandma Verna at the property a couple of times. We relaxed while the kids drove the side by sides, played, and flew kites.

Will found a recipe for truffle pasta that he wanted to try, so we ordered truffles online and a had a few yummy dishes while we used them up. It was so good!
We had lots of fun!
