July Adventures

We have been staying very busy this summer. There are lots of fun things to do!

Alana like to play around the car while Naomi goes to singing lessons.  She has had a lovely teacher in the stake that has taught her so much. She is moving to Colorado at the end of the month. Naomi will miss her.

We went to the Centerville City parade because we were going to be out of town for the Bountiful City parade. The girls had loads of fun doing the usual parade things.

Then we joined Lindsay and Scott in Hyrum for fireworks.

Naomi decided to join me on her bike while I went for a run. She was super sweet and helped a cute couple take their picture, so they took our picture!

By mid-July the girls remembered how to play together. That is usually the hardest thing about summer is remembering how to be around each other all the time.

The girls also had two sessions of swim lessons. they are finally getting to the point where they can swim across the pool by themselves!

The girls also rode their bikes a ton.

And Alana learned how to break a board with her heel!

Late August is a great time for sunrises and sunsets.

Some times we were just silly.

We took a couple days and went with Jill and Jesse Hayes to their cabin on Fish Lake. The drive was beautiful, the lake was beautiful, and they were so fun to hang out with.

They took us to penny rock where the girls found all the coins the fairies and trolls left for them.

The cabin was so comfy and the quilts were awesome too.

We walked along the lake too. We had a fun time!

We attended the annual Kunzler Dutch Oven Cook Off. It was awesome as usual!!

The girls won 2nd place in desserts with their Cinnamon Apple Pie.

Will won 2nd place in Side dishes with his Multi Seed Bread. They were both delicious!

The girls and I went to This Is the Place and hung out for a few hours.

Finally, we have been given the opportunity to hang out with Grandpa Dave because his health is failing. So the girls get to do fun crafts. They love to hang out with Grandpa Dave.
