Thanksgiving Week

The kids were out of school for the whole week of Thanksgiving. It had been a crazy couple of weeks, so I thought we could do some fun things to blow off some steam.

Monday we went to the movies with Grandma K and Grandpa Bill. We saw the second Fantastic Beasts movie. The girls got kind of scared at some points but seemed to have enjoyed the movie as a whole.

Tuesday we went out to eat at Popeye's for the first time. We really enjoyed the food.  Then we went to Thanksgiving Point. The girls love just running around there.

Then we went to South Town Mall where they had Wizarding World of Harry Potter Shops. I didn't even tell the girls we were going there, but they loved it!

They also played on the escalators. 

Wednesday we had a down day. We ran a couple errands but mostly stayed home and relaxed. (And played with my phone...)

Thursday was Thanksgiving. We started the day by going to see Wreck It Ralph Breaks the Internet with the Smith/Kunzler side. We all laughed so hard at that movie!

Then in the afternoon we had Thanksgiving at Corie's house. We provided a couple of pies. 

Saturday, Will and Alana hung out at home and worked on things there, while Naomi ran around. 

We went to the Delapp family service project, where we cut of grocery bags to make mats for the homeless to sleep on. 

Then we went to Nonnie's for the annual Candy Making/PJ making day.  (And played on my phone some more....) We had loads of fun and relaxed and got lots of things done. 

It was a good week. Almost like a stay-cation, but it was nice to break things up with a week off.  Now its time to get back into the swing of things, and get ready for Christmas!
