Chickens

We decided this year we are going to try our hand at chickens. Will has done a bunch of research. He picked two breeds he wanted. Bard Rock and Buff Orpington.

They come in the mail and the lady in line behind us at the post office was really impressed that chicks could go through the mail.

They are now three and a half weeks old. They are starting into the "ugly" stage. They are getting their "big girl" feathers and loosing their fluff. They like to play Bowling for Chickens. They run through the groups of chickens and make them scatter. And they like to perch on top of the water bottles.

In a couple weeks they will be able to go outside and play.
